I have 15 years of experience and I’ve never seen a more poorly run company. This company prints money because it’s been the name brand in lighting since forever, which enables them to be incompetent without much penalty. They buy all the up and coming companies and then ruin then when integrating them. Management have complete risk aversion. The org is crazy over-matrixed and every decision has to be consensus accepted and socialized by like 42 people - there is no backbone, no action, no intuition, no path to succeed. The leadership is very out of date with new tech and new opportunities. After I left my salary increased 3.5x at my next employer (FAANG). The CEO, Eric R is very vanilla and keeps the ship steady but doesn't do much else. I started at one of their subsidiaries in Silicon Valley - where they were infinitely more competent. There's so many better companies to work for. Don't waste your time already.
