Pros
I was working in the Dragon City team. +) Humanity : The most friendly/lovely I had the chance to work with. (Family spirit) +) They care about the game and are really committed to make it better every day. +) Really open to discussion, changes. In one year, the improvement of the team, technically speaking, the process, the communication, get much much better + Work/Life balance is really good (keep in mind that this in a video game company). No work during the weekend, and "insane rush" time are very limited. (Before I have worked at Gameloft, and there, it's a complete different story...) +) Salary is very good for Barcelona. +) Benefits -> A LOT. A phone of your choice, free lunch 4 days a week, free juice/coffe/fruits/... . You can leave the office every friday at 3pm (and go travelling or to the beach or home or wherever you wanna go). Hairdresser, physiotherapist. And a lot of other cool things :) +) Office : very lit, comfortable +) Management is accessible and open to discussion. (I left for only one reason : I wanted to join a young and small startup)
Cons
-) The office closes during 2 weeks in August (and it's counted as holidays). For me it's a con. But I have heard that they are discussing about removing this. -) Even if they are open to change or discussion, sometimes, you will have to spend a lot of energy and patience because of one or two people a bit less open-mind (stucked with their famous " but we doing that way for ages") -) When you are hired, it's not really cleared in which game you are going to work on. (There is a big difference if you go to a 2d or 3d game depending on your backgrounds). -) It's a Catalan company. So be prepared that sometimes they will talk naturally in Catalan for casual discussions. But they kindly switch to English if you remind them too.
