Pros
-Great cafeteria for lunch with very affordable prices -Central location -Good training options which is great for entry level staff/for your first publishing job. -Good work-life balance
Cons
-Low pay for the industry. Some staff on just £18k which is appalling for the amount of work they do and does not cover London living costs. -Progression not discussed clearly. Many staff members leaving to seek external opportunities. -Very obvious divide between managers and entry level staff. Managers would socialize with drinks after work and not invite or even chat to 'lower' staff during the working day. Assistants and Execs were also made to sit separately from managers and weren't included in discussions and were often left off of mailing lists. -Low morale as there is a very high staff turnover and long gaps between an employee leaving and their replacement's first day on the job. -Poor benefits for low paid staff. Many are unobtainable because Flexfund does not cover enough.
