Pros
It’s a great company with the right team. I’ve been here over 10 years and I’ve had amazing managers and horrible managers. With a good manager the company is wonderful.
Cons
After 6 years of remote work they’re trying to send us back in office. They built hubs in very high traffic areas, gas prices are high, and we have to navigate things like after school care for kids. Yet people who work in areas where operations centers closed, those people are allowed to still work fully remote. And we get no extra compensation. Make it make sense. The people making these decisions work in Bloomington where there no traffic. I will have to start going back in office and yet most of my team works in other states. It doesn’t make sense. In person “collaboration” doesn’t work if your team is in numerous different states. State Farm, you’re better than this!
