Pros

When I started working for the Farm in 2010 it was a dream...great starting pay, opportunity to advance, I was promoted twice in my first two years. With Ed Rust at the helm the company was prosperous and morale was great I planned on being there for the rest of my working years. Enter Michael Tipsord....and the reinvention of the wheel begins. Offices across the country start shutting doors and the new plan of action is to move all operations to ATL, DAL, PHX. The employees that built lives and have families in places where they’ve been for 10-20 years are faced with a choice uproot your life or thanks there’s the door.

Cons

Michael Tipsord this is not the world where you can fake it til you make it.

Pros

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Cons

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
