Nothing. I don't think is there any good points in tech support department. Yes you can join development departments if you really wants to get the knowledge and leaves.
Cons
I have a more then 3 years of experience in this company. I don't think there are any PROS in tech support department and that is the reason so many employees have left the company from this department. Management just know how to pressurize the employee. For him we are not an employee but just worker. They are very RUDE. Even If we send an email to approve the leave in 2 months advance, we will need to take follow-up 100 times verbally and still we can't get any approval or a single reply. We must need to meet them face to face and they ask thousands of questions that why do you need leave and so and so. It looks like when we ask for a leave they think that we can asking them to give money or diamond to us. They are giving 20 leaves for a year but no one able to use those leaves in a year. It looks like a whole system is corrupted and it has been affected due to the virus I don’t think there is any medicine of this. I would only suggest to the guys that please don’t join the tech support department.
