Pros
The discount and that the work is remote. I used to be very happy with the flexibility, but now that is gone.
Cons
Where to begin! If you want to work somewhere that is full of toxic positivity and will praise you for your flexibility without asking you how you feel about changes and disregarding you completely, then work here. They ask us to bend over backwards with little to no notice. I used to think SF was amazing and offered a great opportunity to stay at home parents as well as working single moms. Not anymore! In fact, I would go as far as to say that they are completely unsupportive of single moms and stay at home moms with the new policies they have now adopted as it is near impossible to work for them if you fall into either of those categories and depend on yourself for childcare. As of this week, SF has required us to be available for more hours but completely limited working operation hours. SF is now just a corporate company full of greed and the new CEO does not care about the "little people" who keep this business running. She cares about money and shareholders. If you want to work for a company that has constant changes and the only consistent thing you will discover is inconsistency, then this place is perfect for you. They will do WHATEVER they want to make money and without any disregard for stylists AT ALL. This place sucks. Run. You will never feel valued as a stylist, but will constantly be told that you are the "heartbeat of the company." It's all just a bunch of manipulation and gaslighting to get what they want. I've been doing this almost 4 years and the latest changes are upsetting to say the least. Also they've continued to limit the capacity in which stylists can communicate to each other because they don't want us to complain and form a united front against the total BS.
