Pros

Every pro from this company as an employee has been taken away. They are only out for themselves and everyone else is disposable.

Cons

Too many things to even name, but save yourself the fake promise of #StichFixGrit and how you are to show loyalty, optimism and flexibility when in turn you are turned on and disposed of. Originally claimed to empower women, mothers, single mothers, teachers and those looking to contribute to their families success and over-all well-being. Only to have that all take away in one foul swoop. Limiting our hours to 8 - 8 taking away 50% of the time we are able to style, needing to provide the specific hours down to 15 minutes. Chose to stay chose to go, we don't really care, but for those of you that decide quick enough we'll give you $1,000, but wait not too many or we will cap it. So quit first to guarantee your money. Oh wait been here 1 year, 2 years, 3 years or more, we don't care you will no longer be recognized for your achievements. Wait let's commit for 20 hours, wait we can't promise you that, but please schedule your life and family obligations around it in case we change our mind at the last minute. Wait the system's down can you change your required and committed hours to later in the week. Oh can't be that flexible, we'll we don't really need you anyways, that's what algorithms are for. You take and take and give NOTHING in return. No recognition, no opportunity to express options or express ourselves. We have been silenced, but you claim Stylists are the heart of the company. The heart of the company is now your bottom line. Forget the personalization and who helped you achieve the success your wallets are benefiting from today.

Pros

You are able to work from home

Cons

Very unmotivating work environment. You get a couple of small raisies when you first start but then they cut off raises and expect you to perform at 100% efficiency 100% of the time. There is no motivation to do so. You are basically chained to you desk while you style because everything you do is timed. They provide no tools or stipend for the items you need in order to work from home. No internet stipend, nothing towards your computer, I never even got a pencil after being there 5 years. You have little no interaction with other people. The inventory is poor. Management is always turning over. I think I had about 8 different managers over my 5 years there. They mico manage you. You would think styling would be a creative job but not here. You don't even get to write your own note to a client anymore. AI writes it and you pretty much have to go that route bc you have about 8 minutes to style a client to stay within your efficiency goals. Overall its great that you can work from home but the job is extremely unmotivating and not rewarding. There is no room for advancement. DO yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is not the company or culture you want.
