Pros
Great compensation and benefits. Mostly great work/life balance with some busy times sprinkled in. Some of the smartest engineers I've ever worked with and you will learn a lot from your team mates and become a better dev while you're here. For the most part everybody is really helpful and nice, it's a good culture at the IC level. If you want to take on new challenges, just be proactive and assert yourself, engineers are given a lot of trust and are allowed to drive decisions. No CTO in a corner office dictating what library we're going to use because he listened to a podcast one time, etc, etc
Cons
There's no nice way to say it, senior leadership has been incompetent and directionless in recent years and it has hurt the company. Everyone gets stock as part of their compensation and it's demotivating to see your stock (real dollars, not pre-IPO stock options) decrease in value because of poor leadership It's getting better with the new CEO (Matt) and CPTO (Tony). There has been a lot of good change since they came aboard, so hopefully they're here to stay and the carousel of new leaders can stop...
