Pros

You could sneak food and cookies, provided you were in a corner where the 16 video cameras weren't looking. I got a raise after just 2 months of working there. That's about it.

Cons

There was so much stuff to do, always. And the fact that there were only 2 people working each shift didn't help things. Endless piles of dishes, cleaning the store/tables, doing the cash register, preparing food in the background, serving people up front, sweeping and mopping, taking inventory, etc etc. we were working from the minute we got there til closing. I had to work 13 hr shifts day after day and they showed no consideration for my personal time and other obligations. The manager stayed at home and we had to call her with any questions because there was simply no upper level management there, ever.

Pros

Very flexible scheduling, especially if your manager is willing to work around all their employees. You usually get a 50% discount that you can use once a day too.

Cons

Direct district management at this location does not know how to manage people. He will not really do anything to help or assist until his supervisors look into his stores and what he does. He will shift blame onto any general manager he can, and if any district manager decides you are doing your job incorrectly or you need to adjust what you are doing, there will be little to no support in helping you become a better employee. It really can become a "popularity contest" when you work in store management. If you are a regular employee or shift lead, you won't really have any direct contact with district management.
