      Pros

      I've been very happy working at Sun Communities! I enjoy the culture here, which has been fun and friendly but also professional. Upper management has been genial and training has gone very well. For the most part, I am given clear direction and have not experienced any micro-management. All issues have been dealt with appropriately. Lastly, there have been some very nice perks like the main office's "Double-Wide Cafe," trips, occasional bonuses, etc.

      Cons

      Our company has expanded in recent months and there have been some "growing pains." Everyone's workload has increased and while they are hiring new people, I feel like some better pre-planning could have ameliorated some of the workload.

      Pros

      My coworkers are great and most have been with Sun for many years (which speaks volume on the kind of company Sun is, in a good way). The support I get from my team, is appreciated. The pay is decent and lot rent discount is appreciated as well. Hours are typical for my position. I think Sun is a good company to work for, if you are looking for a permanent long-term position.

      Cons

      It's a lot of work at our property due to multiple storms causing damage to the community, so it is hard to leave on time because there is always something to do. Working traditional office hours +some, it is hard to make it to appointments and being new I definitely don't want to miss any work.
