Pros

There are some amazing people working here. If you can fly under the radar and just get to work with some of the awesome people, it could be a great place.

Cons

There's a bunch of political vibes and folks jockeying for what they think will be the future of the company. A ton of layoffs, and everyone's pretty much hanging on the edge, wondering if they'll be next. The leadership team are totally struggling to pump up the crew. The best of the sales crew? They're out for places where they can easily get better success, with real support and coaching. On the flip side, the ones just coasting? They're just cruising. Outside of sales, they're trying to keep the good ones around through financial motivation. The whole intrinsic motivation thing is pretty much wiped out; now, it's all about the cash or stocks. As for diversity, it's pretty much an all-white, bro-heavy leadership team.

Pros

A typical day at Sysdig is fast-paced, collaborative, and full of problem-solving. You’re constantly learning — whether it’s cloud security, Kubernetes, or how to work cross-functionally with incredibly smart teammates. Management is transparent, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping people grow, not just hit numbers. The culture is one of ownership, humility, and teamwork; people jump in to help each other without ego. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with the rapid change of the cloud-native world, but that’s also what keeps the work exciting. The most enjoyable part is seeing the direct impact of your work on customers and knowing you’re working with a team that truly cares. Sysdig is a place where you feel challenged, supported, and proud of what you build together.

Cons

The main challenge is that Sysdig is shifting toward incorporating agentic AI into the next generation of its product, so some teams are still adapting to new workflows and evolving priorities. It’s an exciting transition, but it does require flexibility as the organization moves quickly to innovate.
