Pros

Out of the four jobs I've held, I must say, TRP is #1. Their continuous efforts in creating an inclusive workplace, the implementation of collaboration days, and the BRGs are staples for me. I appreciate the surveys that gives me a voice to share what's going right and what can be tweaked, but it doesn't stop there. They not only listen to our voices but there is always a plan of strategy for implementation. We are encouraged to engage in internal and external efforts that includes volunteering with varying community partners. I love the health challenges, but we also have management who leads by example. The associate awards program is something I have never experienced before where you can nominate another associate or be nominated for an award for your contribution in whatever capacity to the overall well-being of the firm. It's a great place where development is encouraged as well. Thought things aren't always perfect, but you can certainly appreciate their efforts. I can truly say, they keep the associates best interest at heart. The pros are many and that's a great thing. For me, they outweigh the cons. I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue my career journey here. Most management is accessible and friendly (I haven't everyone). Management is an advocate for work/life balance.

Cons

For me personally, there are no cons. I've come to understand as I said previously, there is no such thing as a perfect workplace, but I appreciate all efforts they put forth to make it a better place to start and end a career.

Pros

Total compensation is competitive, new hires are eager to jump in, and it seems like a company strategy is finally coming together. Things continue to move slowly though because projects from the loudest voice or most tenured associates tend to get prioritized and throw off critical investments into fixing data, process, and tech debt issues to mature our ability to market like it’s 2026 instead of 2016.

Cons

Too many bottlenecks to execution; If you’re seeking to make a meaningful impact, don’t expect it fast. Expect to navigate uncertainty while the company claims to help clients do this for their portfolios instead of helping associates to help clients — This is branded fluff for leadership without clear direction, driving teams to waste too much time and energy in meetings and boring demo decks every month to make being busy look like value by being the loudest voice, which is what you’ll notice many of the most tenured associates do best. Slides might look pretty but AI doesn’t make sense of this noise and clients don’t benefit from all the hours spent in PowerPoint. Unclear ownership leads to internal redundancies or team friction, on top of the inconsistent documentation and fragmented data siloes that are ironically impeding readiness for AI mandates coming from the CEO.
