Pros

Really the only thing good about the job is the people you work with. Free snacks, good benefits and apparently ping pong tables and fuzball is something cool i guess.

Cons

FIRST THING: This is a bank, you are not a person you are a number, you will always be a number even when you rank up and go from cubicle to office. They put you in a classroom cause they want a TD SLAVE then whatever role is after. You most likely wont get promoted but bounce around to other departments with slightly better pay grades and if you do move up in your department you must have been kissing someone somewhere. This job is all about sales, surveys, and you being mirco managed. THEY DONT CARE IF YOU HELP 100 PEOPLE A DAY THEY WANT SAVING ACCOUNTS OPENING! They will put you in stupid competitions, in order to fight like dogs who can get the most sales and reward is a weekend in mexico. You need to have thick skin to work her not just by the rude customers but the manipulating management, IT IS APART OF THEIR JOB TO BRING A CON TO YOUR COACHING MEETINGS EVEN IF YOUR 120% above all targets, Banks are selfish and heavily power distanced, it is no surprise they act like this, everyone should know working at a bank is like this, no room for morals, ethics and respect. Just slither like a snake like the rest of management and you will be fine.

Pros

The management team was supportive, and the branch had a strong team-oriented culture. Because it was a smaller branch, employees had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, collaborate across roles, and learn from one another. Team members regularly shared ideas, provided constructive feedback, and supported each other's professional growth, creating a positive and rewarding work environment.

Cons

The main areas for improvement would be compensation and scheduling flexibility. At the time, I felt the pay was somewhat low relative to my previous leadership experience in retail management. While compensation may be competitive for some entry-level banking roles, I would have appreciated a stronger alignment between pay and prior supervisory experience. Aside from that, my decision to leave was based on pursuing a different career path rather than any issues with the company itself. TD Bank offers a professional work environment, supportive teams, and valuable opportunities for growth and development within the banking industry.
