Pros

You'll leave with a very clear idea of what a bad leader looks like.

Cons

Working here was like stepping into a masterclass on how to run a company straight into the ground. The pay was insulting, the workload relentless, and management couldn't organize their way out of a paper bag. The CEO is a full-blown micromanager who rules through fear, manipulation, and threats, seriously, disagree with him once and you might as well start packing your desk. He ignores his own executive team, lies constantly, and somehow still wonders why the investors have zero respect for him or the business. Favoritism runs rampant, so hard work means nothing unless you're in the chosen circle. It's a toxic mix of ego, dysfunction, and chaos that leaves you drained, frustrated, and wondering why you didn't run the other way at the first red flag.

Pros

Some talented people genuinely cared about improving the member experience and product.

Cons

The culture often felt political and reactive rather than collaborative. Engineering leads threw people under the bus instead of doing actual work. There was a tendency for teams to protect themselves instead of working cross-functionally toward shared goals, which made it difficult to build momentum or trust. In my experience, employees who were deeply invested in improving the product and pushing for meaningful change were not always supported or retained. There were also challenges around accountability and execution within parts of the tech and leadership organization. Meetings frequently felt unproductive, priorities shifted often, and ownership was unclear, leading to delays and frustration across teams.
