Pros

- Friendly people - Free snacks and breakfast - Good software - Average pay - Free alcohol - Fridays are very casual (can be a good and bad thing) - Workload is very manageable - Tanda has some of the best people under their belt - Minimal dress code

Cons

- Does not take care of their most valuable asset, their employees. Some of the most skilled people get hired but are not treated or utilized properly. - Let go of most of their employees during the pandemic, and the ones that weren't let go were locked out of their accounts - Upper management likes to preach about transparency but are not transparent at all. There seems to be a lot of problems with communication. - Little to no career growth or direction - People in the Manila office seem to be treated like second class employees and it doesn't feel like they're given the same opportunities, voice, or trust as their western counterparts - Founders seem to run the entire show and have little regard for what their employees and managers have to say - Plenty of meetings seem like a joke or are dragged out for no reason at all - Business decisions are questionable. Tanda bought companies that didn't make sense and constantly sends people on travel even if they leave shortly after. - The company wants to be seen as being professional but also wants to seem cool. This would be great if this was executed properly. Unfortunately, it seems that the main selling point of this company to new recruits is free beer and beer pong on Fridays. This would not be a problem if there was a solid career plan, but there is none. If you don't care for beer or beer pong then there's really nothing to look forward to.

Pros

Lots of autonomy and growth is there for the taking you just have to want it and go after it.

Cons

Communication can struggle at times from the top down.

Pros

- Very ambitious group of people who want to do big things. - Smart in their respect to software development. From what I've heard, it's a good place for young professionals to get some useful experience under their belt. - Casual dress code and monthly happy hours (before the pandemic).

Cons

- Management needs to be more unified in their decisions, since there is no single CEO that the company reports to. - Well-thought-out plans were not implemented. Management doesn't do enough research on strategic decisions before they are made. They will get an idea and run with it before talking with department heads to see if it makes sense or what the repercussions will be. - Not enough transparency with their employees. Undermining managers by talking to their subordinates without the manager's knowledge. - Management seems to care more about the time spent at your desk as the signifier of productivity. - The Chicago office is left messy and unkept on a regular basis (was not like this before the merger). There's a big lack of respect for the shared space of the kitchen.
