Pros
Some TATA Group policies trickle down but the implementation is adhoc e.g. would be Individual Development Plan.
Cons
Since there are a number of Business Units, one can be transferred to any BU - It can have a positive as well as negative impact. Mgmt trainees hired before 2008 were from small B schools and later Executive Trainees from slightly better B schools and engineering colleges were hired, but huge salary difference. Reason given that they are Mgmt trainees and you are Executive trainees.
