Pros
I appreciated the culture of FMC's engineering department. Everyone was willing to help one another out to meet deadlines/ milestones. Expect to work hard if you want to continue to be marketable. There are a wide variety of engineers with differing levels of experience. I had great mentors while at FMC. It's neat that FMC has a shop connected to its engineering department. The free fruit was nice.
Cons
If you are in R&D, you may have to work long hours to keep your project going. Sometimes Christmas holidays and weekends must be sacrificed to meet the shop production schedule.
