      Fun work, Narcissistic CEO - Web Developer Tecture Employee Review

      Pros

      We got to work on some interesting projects and were able to use new technologies to do them. Learning on the job is expected and usually pretty constant. This could be a great foot in the door for someone new to the industry.

      Cons

      The CEO, Ben is a narcissist. He can be very immature and has been known to give his employees the silent treatment for weeks when there is a disagreement. Salaries are low and there are usually no bonuses, or if there is one, it's really small. There isn't much room to grow. If you want to move up, you'll have to find a job at another company.

      Tecture is an exciting, dynamic software and web development company working on many interesting, exciting, and challenging projects. I see little point in rebutting each item of this "review" line-by-line. Suffice it to say this does not accurately represent me, Tecture, or my relationships with our staff and clients.

      Pros

      There were a lot of really interesting projects, ranging from finance, music, healthcare, and more. We had a lot of liberty to be creative and inventive in our solutions and designs, and were able to try out new technologies. I was interested in Angular and was able to attend a conference. The coworkers were also good and fun.

      Cons

      There was a rough patch, which might explain the poor reviews. I think things will be better moving forward.

      Pros

      None, unless you want to include the bare minimum things that the leadership does.

      Cons

      Tecture's rude and disrespectful leadership is hated by most, if not all, of the employees in this company. The CEO and most of the leadership are horrible people who treat employees like trash. They have no respect and no care for our well-being. The salary here is terrible as well.
