Pros

Pay is okay. Wfh options.

Cons

I am a former employee of Tenet Healthcare, where I worked as a Social Media Specialist. During my time there, the workload became increasingly overwhelming and, at times, unsustainable. Despite having a team of fewer than ten people, we were expected to manage and review thousands of patient feedback entries across multiple hospitals. Over time, additional responsibilities were assigned, including handling more hospital accounts, without a proportional increase in support or resources. While promotions were offered, the corresponding salary adjustments were minimal and did not adequately reflect the expanded scope of work. The promotions themselves felt more procedural than meaningful. Work-life balance was also a significant concern. Although work-from-home arrangements were available, the sheer volume of tasks made it difficult to maintain a healthy balance. Additionally, performance metrics were already demanding, yet there were continued efforts to make them even more difficult to achieve, which further increased pressure on employees. Overall, there appeared to be a disconnect between management and the realities of the workload, particularly in terms of staffing and expectations. Greater investment in team expansion and more realistic performance standards would significantly improve both employee well-being and productivity.

Pros

Good work environment, good pay; salary plus production bonus

Cons

Corporate turn over high. Benefits are expensive, glad I get benefits through my spouse, but the offerings were high costs/low coverage.
