Very hands on internship experience from the beginning stages of book publication to the after stages post-publication. Worked alongside the Art Director that provided her insight and tons of knowledge.

Very limited company that was not able to provide room for growth or advancing in career with the company.

-staff are really cool and dedicated -they publish books that deserve to exist -you get such a great education in publishing cause you’re exposed and work with every single department

-not enough staff for the massive workloads, so you get no support -micromanaging is RAMPANT -pay isnt enough as with most indies -promotions dont mean much cause you just have to keep doing all the work you were already doing, plus more its a company that is constantly trying to punch above its weight, and the staff suffer for it in terms of workload/pay/support. its common for everyonet to be doing three jobs at once -- the company basically only continues to exist because of that exploitation
