Decent job but grim environment - Sales Associate/Cashier The UPS Store Employee Review

in my experience we had close knit team, solid pay, interesting and varying work, majority of customers are quite nice

from what I observed corporate is out of touch with their franchisees.

It's a job. More pleasant and cleaner than fast food for what it's worth. Small business environment (since most stores are franchised) may either be a blessing or a nightmare depending on the owner(s) and management.

Extremely hectic and high-pressure work environments. Job responsibilities are more or less everything to do in such stores. Experience can vary wildly by franchise management. Arguably greater work stress and responsibility than comparable retail jobs for significantly less pay.
