Pros

-Unlimited PTO is the only thing that really comes to mind.

First, I have witnessed a leader belittle members of the team on several occasions during team meetings. This leader frequently expressed frustration with members of the team saying, for example, that the team should be extremely embarrassed of the number of client meetings they were setting. He used this tactic to publicly shame members of the team during meetings without offering solutions to his perceived concerns. Leadership has also stated that members of the staff “don’t want to work hard” simply because they do not want to work after hours and on weekends. In addition to this, leadership does not show interest in the growth of their employees as they consistently search for months for outside hires instead of investing in the employees they currently have. When employees express concerns or new ideas, they are labeled as negative. This environment makes employees fear that they will be fired if they express their needs. Don't listen to their core values of "fight it out with love" and "diversity fuels the forge" and "bounded intellectualism". The truth of the matter is that employee ideas for improvement are not listened to. I know myself as well as many former members of the staff have offered our thoughts on how to improve culture, sales, etc. and we were shut down each and every time by leadership who stated that we were bringing the culture down and not showing commitment to the start-up environment. If you take a look at the website, you will see a staff that does not represent the diversity that they pledge in their values. A member of the leadership team made remarks about some of the women on the staff being emotional and stated that he didn’t want to be a therapist to them. In addition, I heard this leader state several times that the men on the team can actually understand his sports references such as, and I quote, “it’s like passing a ball.” On the sales side, leadership will push the sales staff to use current customers as references, which is extremely difficult. When the sales team asked the customer success team about which clients they could reference, their response consisted of one or two for each sales territory. The turnover at this company is extremely high for a reason. In my time, I saw about half of the company leave (some replaced, some not as of now). This company is hands down the worst environment I have ever worked in and I want others to be able to see what I experienced during my time here. Ask yourself if the details that I have described sound like a good work environment to you. As a note - I have edited my previous review to include more facts and examples after being threatened with legal action by this company. Everything I have written is a statement of fact and I stand behind my words.
