Pros
One of the many who got laid off in the 1Q23 cycle, in a team that was obsolete. Tbh, the firm had an amazing culture with lots of learning opportunities. Given how personal the founders / mgrs were with us, I can imagine why so many angry comments are left here as the 15% company wide firing felt like a betrayal. Recently met some old colleagues for a meal and realised Treehouse still holds dear to me among all the other companies that I’ve worked at. Overall, one of the best places to work (especially the karaoke sessions on Fri) ... Other then that it's a challenging environment that demands the team to be constantly innovating and learning.
Cons
A bit too much autonomy at times + lots of young and driven people who are given opportunities in a flat org structure that comes with cons...
