Pros

Some clever people in 1st and 2nd line but too busy

Cons

Homophobia and sexism considered 'banter' and it might as well be encouraged Far too busy to learn anything worthwhile High number of people sick every day Fire people who make mistakes instead of supporting them

Thanks for your feedback and we deeply regret things didn’t work out between us, especially based on your comments. Please be rest assured they are being taken very seriously. Embracing diversity and being non-discriminatory is built into our culture and documented in our latest staff handbook and DNA for success document in detail. Documentation and writing this down is one thing but it is absolutely paramount this is upheld and is working practice in reality. It is imperative our management teams are aware if there are areas within the business this is not apparent. On the training front we invest heavily in our training programmes, especially on our product / technical stack; so much so we have just been awarded another Microsoft Gold accreditation as a direct result. We always try to map individual training goals to that of the company and (where relevant) our technical portfolio, but do recognise there are occasions these don't necessarily align. Our staff retention rates (average 7 years) also highlight that we focus heavily on supporting our staff both through difficult times personally, professionally and even during extended periods of sickness. We are therefore sorry you feel these elements were not acknowledged in your case. We would welcome a conversation to discuss all your comments in more detail. You can help us initiate that by dropping us a line at hr@utilize.co.uk where your identity will be kept confidential (only our HR team will see this). Otherwise you have our assurance this has been raised with all the management teams here at Utilize and we wish you the best of luck for the future.
