Pros
one of the largest hospice agencies in the u.s opportunity to work with great colleagues in the field and learned alot from other discipline working with terminal patients and their families was very rewarding feeling
Cons
lazy, incompetant, poor and disorganized management, no gratitude for field staff, no raises, left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing, low morale, very high turnover, questionable termination practices as only offer at will employment but also you must sign a no compete clause preventing you from working for another hospice company in the area. on call coverage in which you are required to work for entire week and weekend after hours in which you go to some of the most dangerous areas of city at 3 am without any concern for your own personal safety. total focus is on making a profit and getting new patients. patient can be on death door but company wants you to have pt or family revoke hospice at hospital to prevent paying hospital bill.
