Pros

- Culture, professionalism, and benefits that rivals my experience with Fortune #1 companies. - Colleges have a wealth of .NET stack knowledge that is hard to find outside of Microsoft. - Directly reporting to the owners provides a great sense of your own contribution. - Working with all the staff gives a broad feeling of a team effort and goal to help each other deliver quality work. - Variety of different projects as you move between contracts. - Great work machines, network, and support.

Cons

- Hard to get constructive feedback since there is rarely anyone close enough to your daily efforts to do so. - As a consultant and working with a variety of different companies can lead to some experiences that are sub optimal in regards to either the technology and/or the work environments to navigate.

Pros

Valore has a great reputation. This means that they have long-term clients that have experience with the quality of their work. They get interesting work and the appropriate space to do it right. The partners are approachable and value their employees. Most of the engineers and managers have been with the company for more than 5 years. VPs average 15 years of tenure, Engineers AVERAGE 8 years tenure. Based on my more than two decades in IT, Valore has a rare and admirable corporate culture.

Cons

It is a small company. There is limited upward mobility.
