Pros

- Accountability and Growth Opportunities: I don't think I've ever worked somewhere where senior leadership shows so much top-down trust in employees. I've had fantastic opportunities in just 8 months to propose, direct, and lead projects that -matter- with a ton of ownership, while still having the support of a seasoned, smart team behind me. - Established Processes and Teams: While Varonis still carries some start-up vibes (in a good way), the marketing process is strategic and data-driven —people know what they're doing here and how to evaluate what works. - Great People: One of my interviewers "warned" me, "We don't hire egos." In my experience, this is true. Everyone I've worked with from top-down has been kind, honest, and collaborative — no blame games, no arguing for the sake of being right. It's an amazing team atmosphere. - Strong Roadmap: I feel very confident in the future of this company, even in the face of the recession — we clearly make an awesome, practical product and know how to sell it well. - Flexible Environment: I work fully remotely now, but when I lived near an HQ, the ability to flex between working remotely and in the office was a huge plus.

Cons

- PTO is on the lower side for a tech company, but the flexibility and remote-friendliness makes a big difference

Pros

Benefits are great, random gifts throughout the year, top notch team support

Cons

Company is so compartmentalized no one team has any idea of what is going on with another, which is specifically frustrating when it comes to pay/commission. They keep purchasing other companies without properly integrating into the existing product and have to basically re-invent how to use the full potential of said product to interact with what they already have, leaving a lot to be desired. Hiring new positions with specific goals in mind, but have the same title so are treated the same when it comes to OTE creating a substantial pay cut. Especially when they are brought in to make certain parts of the team and product better.
