Pros

People have been this company's greatest strength over the years. There still are many fantastic team members—talented, skilled and genuinely helpful—though few now remain. I've also valued and appreciated work flexibility in terms of onsite/WFH and managing my time, both as an individual contributor and as a people leader.

Cons

There was a complete and dramatic leadership change in 2024 that set the company on a collision course with demise. Culture changed abruptly, solid values were replaced with vague and meaningless buzzwords, and executive gaslighting began. All under the watchful eye of a comically clueless new executive team, which desperately tries to get some respect by force. This was followed by three waves of mass layoffs within six months, which included entire mission-critical teams. Office locations are likely to close soon, and an air of exasperation and uncertainty is now the new norm for our teams. It really is heartbreaking to see a once great company go down like this.

Pros

Vendavo is an exciting place to work, especially if you enjoy a fast-paced, private equity-backed software environment. The company moves quickly and takes on complex, meaningful challenges, making it a great fit for people who thrive in dynamic, high-energy settings. The quarterly global recharge days are a standout perk and a truly appreciated benefit. Health benefits are strong, and the unlimited PTO policy offers valuable flexibility and supports work-life balance. Despite the speed of the business, the company feels well-organized, which makes it easier to stay focused and productive.

Cons

At times, the fast-moving nature of the company can feel challenging, but it also keeps the work engaging and rewarding.
