Pros
Compared to benefits in other companies management benefits are still good (tuition, health/welfare, phone discounts, paid time off). Matching gifts program is good too
Cons
Favoritism seems to count more than skills/abilities to advance. Dissenting opinions are not encouraged. The feeling is managers get the short end of the stick for the benefit of the union employees.
