7yThank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear about your experience at Vertex. While your feedback is being reviewed internally, we can clarify on some of the points you mentioned.
• Inside sales is a key function for the organization. We celebrate winning new business and recognize the respective salesperson at an organizational level.
• Inside sales team is responsible for defining geographies, identifying target customer profiles, defining the outreach message, etc., which requires experience, thought process, ability to be self-driven, and collaborating with management. A tele caller cannot do this job and we do not hire tele callers.
• Inside sales resources are supported with all the right tools, training, processes, reviews and feedback to make them successful. This combined with the individuals’ attitude, aptitude and drive, helps them to be successful. A well-structured performance review and feedback mechanism is in place that allows us to identify those who need help. PIP has been instituted to ensure that the individual and the organization come together in a time boxed sustained effort to help the individual pull up and perform. The PIP process is transparent, and it helps the individuals become better performers if they can apply themselves on the job.
• Departments such as HR, Finance, and Delivery provide all the support they can to make Inside Sales a successful function. There is no monopoly working against the Inside Sales resources. In fact, the system in place ensures that every employee is treated with respect and as a professional.
