I have been working at Vertex as full-time employee (More than 3 years) Innovative - always open to ideas Friendly and motivated work force working environment with Colleagues is great Work life balance is good Flexible working

Its a Level - 3 company, although its a small sized organization therefore chance for promotion is limited

Pros

A good number of projects in pipeline. Friendly atmosphere with colleagues.

Cons

Very poor planning of management in work allocation. Resource handling can be even much better than this, if maintained by any other professional. 0% work satisfaction, no recognition for any employee even he works for 12-14 hrs per day. Lack of communication between teams managers and leads. Most worst and disgusting leave policy, it counts four leaves if applied on Friday and coming Monday.. (means it counts leaves from friday, saturday, sunday and monday.)

Incentive part is somewhat a relief for a sales person other than that this is a not a place to work in such a municipality environment.

Cons

• Inside Sales executives will be treated as Slaves in this company. No recognition and plenty of bureaucracy within the team. They won’t even appreciate you on your closures and you must live and work life a lifeless person. Happiness will go for a hit by seeing those faces and you won’t even able to work in that kind of atmosphere where the management and team all the time try to back strap you every time. The most irritating management and team I ever saw/met in my life. Worst personalities. • All they need is a tele callers who calls and fix up appointments and I advise management to not ruin the career of experience sales professionals by assigning them just calling activities. • Post to the call you wont even have access on the account status, proposal insights and what is happening to your lead. You are not allowed to know, and your only job is to call and fix appointment. For that I recommend the management to hire a call centre person not a sales professional. • PIP is one of the greatest concepts here and if you do not perform for a month or two you would be placed in PIP. If you achieve your target in PIP they won’t pay you incentives. After completion of your PIP again if you do not generate leads for two months again you would be placed in PIP by the worst management. This sets as an example of the company standards. • There is no place of team bonding or supporting here in this company and with such kind of PIP system in place, one cannot work with this pressure and process. • All the departments HR,Finance,Management are a combined Monopoly resulting in common, rude and unfair decisions for employees. Even if you report to someone, the decision would be taken commonly, and the employee end of the day won’t get any justice. • Cafeteria is one such a great place where you won’t even have a proper coffee machine. Forget about snacks, they won’t even provide it all you get is water. Sales professionals who are very serious in growing their career please this is not a company for you. Search a better place.

We celebrate winning new business and recognize the respective salesperson at an organizational level. • Inside sales team is responsible for defining geographies, identifying target customer profiles, defining the outreach message, etc., which requires experience, thought process, ability to be self-driven, and collaborating with management. A tele caller cannot do this job and we do not hire tele callers. • Inside sales resources are supported with all the right tools, training, processes, reviews and feedback to make them successful. This combined with the individuals’ attitude, aptitude and drive, helps them to be successful. A well-structured performance review and feedback mechanism is in place that allows us to identify those who need help. PIP has been instituted to ensure that the individual and the organization come together in a time boxed sustained effort to help the individual pull up and perform. The PIP process is transparent, and it helps the individuals become better performers if they can apply themselves on the job. • Departments such as HR, Finance, and Delivery provide all the support they can to make Inside Sales a successful function. There is no monopoly working against the Inside Sales resources. In fact, the system in place ensures that every employee is treated with respect and as a professional. We provide an excellent workplace for our employees to excel, and sorry that you were not successful during your time in Vertex. Vertex believes in continuous growth and is constantly trying to improve in every aspect for employees to grow with the firm.
