      People. The people are the best part of working at Vertex.

      Cons

      Work Life balance is terrible. Work very long hours and it never seems to be enough. Constantly changing priorities make it very difficult to plan and execute. Chaos.

      Pros

      - Valuable to have a job in this market, and somewhere that historically pays a market rate - unlimited PTO for fulltime

      Cons

      - New CEO is something...concerning. Workforce reduction, replacing C-suite with former pals from previous companies, huge push on AI without the subsequent reassurance that our jobs won't be replaced. Seems like the goal is for all of us to train AI to do our jobs before getting let go. Really tone deaf when us little people have livlihoods on the line.
