Pros
Good benefits, vacation, and organizational structure. Training within the company is top notch and the staff are knowledgeable and true professionals.
Cons
Pay is not competitive and the work demanded of an account executive will not only tie up your evenings, but your weekends as well. This company is owned by Marsh and corporate has recently swooped in with wild growth expectations and ever increasing margins through expense management. Morale in general appears to be the lowest I've seen it in my six years working here, and yes, that includes the better part of the great recession. Areas for advancement are there, but internal promotions may take several years of amazing standout performances for what amounts to a small promotional step. The firm is growing, but only modestly due to limitations imposed by carrier contacts. Many products are just not competitive and there will continue to be a brain drain of valued, but unappreciated employees.
