Pros

It’s a place where employees feel valued and are recognized as a key part of the company’s success. Leadership elicits feedback; encourages employees to contribute, learn and grow. CEO expresses interest in employees’ success and well-being, especially during the pandemic. When things seemed so uncertain for many, we were assured job security every step of the way. Management provides a flexible and inclusive work environment. Weekly meetings offer guidance and transparency. I have grown and thrived here for many years. Ample opportunities to develop your skills and progress, which is unique in a small association.

Cons

In a staff of high-performers, those who aren’t, may not find this to be a good fit.

Pros

The mission, the staff, and the leadership.

Cons

Not for everyone. It for people that don’t mind having a lot of responsibility.

Pros

Benefits and free monthly cupcakes.

Cons

This is not a good place to work, period. The organization has a strong mentality on promoting from within but only if you meet their unrelenting high standards. The work you produce should speak for itself, rather than your image and how you're perceived. I've never worked in an environment where your every move is being watched and judged. Senior management has referred to the company as being an ivy league school where people don't make mistakes.. yes, this came out of someone's mouth during an all staff meeting. I've seen people here last only 3 months because they made a grammar mistake and were canned. A coworker has referred to this place as a sorority house with a bunch of catty women. Most people here work out of fear and because we all have outside obligations. You will thrive in this work culture if you're an emotionless person who loves an anxiety filled job. Good for you if you last and if you don't, hey, you were warned.
