Pros
One thing that's clear from the moment you have your first interview is that you're involved with a tight knit team. They really make you feel like a very important part of the company from day one. It's not only motivating, but starting a new job can be extremely overwhelming, whereas Walnut makes it exciting and anything but stressful. Learning what the company aspires to achieve and seeing the support from all team members working together is my favorite thing about coming to work each day. There's tremendous pride and in each and every project, as well as credit given where it is due. I've worked at startups for most of my career and I can easily say that Walnut is one of the most successful when it comes to the people they employ, and their vision for their future.
Cons
I don't really consider this a con but more of a challenge: the company is spread out across multiple time zones, so at times it can be hard to coordinate meeting times. However, that's not specific to Walnut just a factor when considering remote working companies.
