Pros
Awesome people who seem to really care about what they do; have had great experiences working with all people/departments I've interacted with. The company has acquired several companies over the years and are on a growth trajectory to go public some day, I'm sure. The company is financially-stable and surpassing aggressive sales goals left and right...very strong future outlook. There is a lot of opportunity to learn here and be part of projects, such as the integration management team (acquisitions), that will expand your skillset and experience. There is a good mix of long-time talent here mixed with newer talent. The company is very open to helping you achieve what you want to achieve in your career, try new roles, and stay with them long term. The best onboarding experience I've had. I've only had one other compare in my 17+ years of work experience. Great perks/benefits and competitive salary. Every employee at the companies Waystar has acquired has a spot/place.
Cons
The company is growing through acquisitions, which shows a little in some processes that need to be ironed out a bit more as companies have integrated into Waystar. But, not something that can't be overcome! The only other thing I feel they can be more competitive with is PTO for under-Director level...I feel everyone should have the same level of PTO offered, no matter the level as I've found that people do not abuse the privilege but rather just cements them here longer as they love the benefits.
