Pros

Great healthcare with relatively low fees, tons of additional benefits at low cost, 401k match, outstanding maternity & paternity leave, and flexibility in work schedules (when earned) - the list goes on! My leadership team does not micromanage unless you're not meeting job expectations. At that point, it's on you to improve, and they provide coaching and mentorship. Employees should expect that at any company if they are making mistakes or not executing. In my department, we have a phenomenal subculture that aligns with the overall IML and WWT culture that is touted from the rafters. I've been here a long time (15+ years) and believe there is magic here. If you work hard, there are opportunities for career growth. It may not be on your current team, in your specific department, or even in the city you currently live in, but opportunities exist. You just have to be willing to find them and maybe make yourself a little uncomfortable for one. I see WWT not only talking about AI but implementing it. Our executives and employees are looking forward not just to the next 12 months but to the next 5-10 years. They are focused on ensuring we are at the forefront of what's to come, even with how fast technology changes.

Cons

All companies have challenges, and WWT is no different. There are parts of the company that complain no matter how hard the executives listen and try to make it better, which can get old after a while. While I don't know if the complaints are fully warranted, I truly believe the executives listen to understand the challenges and try to fix what they can. Yes, we have limited IT resources for some internal projects, and things have to be prioritized. But what company doesn't? All companies have a budget they must work within, and not everything can be done immediately. Some of our tools are outdated, but I see a path to getting them where they need to be. Yes, I'd like to be paid more - but who wouldn't? Does anyone truly believe they are paid exactly what they should be paid?

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
