There are still many very talented, very dedicated people in Xerox who possess and share a broad base of knowledge.
Cons
The current move toward a services based business model, while a sound business strategy, has been poorly executed. The resulting division of the corporation into a 'Large Enterprise Organization' and a 'Graphic Communications Organization' has created barriers between functional groups, making knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving more difficult. Customer service has also suffered as relationships with Xerox resources that took years to establish and nurture have been severed by this division.
