You can start with up to 3 weeks and additionally you can purchase a week. Even before the pandemic a lot of people work from home one or two days a week. Although many actually only worked half the day when they stayed at home working.
Cons
This organization is the most wasteful I have ever work for in my life. If you ever heard of the concept of lean production or lean engineering, this is the exact opposite. Even in small so programs you can have very repetitive people doing the same jobs. Three or four designers when one or two is really necessary. People doing the same role both here, Mexico and Germany. Even the management is double. The good news is that they have started to realize this and have announced that they will lay off 10000 people over the next few years! So chances are many people here in the United States will lose their jobs. But this is simply a matter of really poor management - that they ever grew so big with such little revenue to support such redundant job positions.
