Pros

People: Get to work with friendly people who are tight-knit and helpful. Career Progress: It's a great launchpad for career growth and to learn data analysis useful for management careers later. Promotions are fair -- based on performance/merit,

Cons

Brand Value: What was initially seen as a top employer in IITs/NITs are now seen as a Tier-3 recruited in the league of Infy, Cognizant. ZS competes with Infy-type companies on a regular basis, and its glorified brand of 'consulting' is falling apart. Culture: Leadership is less approachable with the increasing headcount, and certainly the quality of people joining the firm is not as good as it used to be. One of the senior leaders in his words - "We don't need super smart 8+ pointers from IITs/NITs to do the work we do". I completely agree with this person, the quality of work we do has also diminished. Compensation and Bonus: A black box. There is no clarity in how one's salary increments are made, and bonuses paid.

Pros

ZS is one of the few firms that offers a exponential growth path in your professional journey- if you are able to match the speed of the firm and can create an impact. Couple of things that have made me stick with ZS is- transparency, people, culture, quality of work and growth trajectory.

Cons

ZS is not deep into Strategic consulting, hence if you are looking for that ZS might not be the firm of choice.

Pros

Strong culture and collaborative environment with smart, supportive colleagues. Admins are trusted partners and get exposure to senior leadership, which provides great learning opportunities. Compensation and benefits are competitive compared to similar roles.

Cons

Workload can be high, with admins often supporting multiple stakeholders while also providing backup coverage. Expectations can vary widely depending on the team, which can create inconsistency and pressure. Career growth paths are less structured and require a lot of self-direction. Work-life balance can be challenging at times, especially across time zones.
