The fire is gone - Anonymous employee Zen Planner Employee Review

Zen Planner is a great company! We have gone through a lot of changes within the last 3 years, but I feel like we have come out the other side a lot stronger. The leaders at ZP/Daxko (our parent company) are amazing people and they are always very open to feedback and are continuously striving to be better and better. They practice what they preach and are very transparent and are very quick to admit when they have made a mistake and correct it. Even though ZP and our parent company (Daxko) have grown a lot over the past 3 years and have become a little bit more corporate, we still have a really great entrepeneurial and growth-mindset culture. I see ZP as a very strong company even in the midst of all of the challenges with COVID and I feel really grateful to be part of such an amazing company.

Working at Zen Planner can go one of 2 ways and it comes down to WHY you would decide to work here. If you want to work here based on the advertised perks (beer, dogs, no dress code, etc) you will have a normal JOB with a cool group of people. Realistically, it is still a job and you will still have numbers to hit, stress and a grind just like anywhere else. If you want this job because you want to help the fitness community that you are part of, give back and believe what you do daily makes a difference you will never want to leave. I believe that the customers I help daily have a better chance at positively impacting the lives of their clients and community. I want to spread the experiences that I've had to as many people as possible. If I didn't work here I would have still tried to find away to do that. Sharing Zen Planner is the way I get to make an impact on a larger scale. Knowing that I accomplish that makes the stress and struggle that you would find at any job totally worth it.

We are a just passing the start up phase and there are constant changes to game plans, goals and processes. For some it's too much.
