Little respect for manufacturing. Engineers now have desks on the floor between machines. Must wear safety glasses while staring at a computer screen. Loud, and impossible to concentrate or have a phone conversation. Everything is being outsourced. Little communication from the people calling the shots as to what the 'plan' is. Many long time, talented people fleeing. Not sure how this company plans on retaining talent like this. I can't imagine a young engineer fresh out of school with $50k in debt sticking around very long after he's shown his shiny new desk on the machine shop floor.
