Pros

I do believe the product is as good as its lead competitors Apollo, Sales Intel.

Cons

Worst experience of my career. Little to no training on the product I supported. I had to teach myself and was then expect to present. They tried to put me on a plan on month 4 when I had not ever be fully trained. The manager never came to 27 minutes late to a 30 minute meeting. This happen every time we met. This company is a mess from the top to the bottom. I was a number there and I ended up leaving at 4 months. I never had an exit interview so decided to write this. The CEO is not a nice person and I would not speak to him if I ran into him in the street. That is a theme throughout the company. They are just not nice people across the board.

I'm very sorry that things did not work out for you here at ZoomInfo and I appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts. I'm Robert Daugherty and lead our Global Talent Acquisition function and take all feedback to heart, While there are always opportunities for us to get better, we are proud of our teams that lead our training as the feedback we get from new employees is overwhelmingly positive. Again, I apologize that it didn't work for you. As for our CEO not being a nice person, I can assure you that he is...he's also incredibly passionate about ZoomInfo and its employees and is relentless about making sure we have a best-in-class product led by best-in-class employees. You should have received an email for an exit interview, but if you didn't, please reach out to me directly and I'll ensure we can capture all of your feedback. Thank you again for taking time to leave your feedback and I wish you the absolute best in your future career endeavors.

Pros

ZoomInfo has genuinely been unlike any organization I have worked for in my career, and I say that as someone who has seen a lot of workplace cultures up close. It is literally my job. From day one, I was given full autonomy to run my desk with agency and ownership. There is no micromanagement here. If you are a subject matter expert in your field, senior leaders will actually defer to you, listen to you, and trust your judgment. That kind of partnership w/ hiring managers is rare, and it makes a real difference in how you show up every day. The peer support has been unmatched. There is no gatekeeping, no withholding of information, no politics around getting ahead. My colleagues genuinely want to see each other succeed. It is a true "rising tide lifts all boats" culture. When one person wins, we all win. The environment is supportive, encouraging, and welcoming in a way I have not experienced anywhere else. What also sets ZoomInfo apart is the investment senior leadership makes in equipping their teams for success. We are given the tools and tech stack needed to do our jobs at the highest level and there is absolutely no skimping here. The sky truly is the limit when it comes to learning, growing, and leveraging technology that empowers you to do a stellar job. Whether you are in sales, engineering, or talent acquisition, you will have access to best-in-class resources that amplify your impact from day one. Beyond the people and the tools, ZoomInfo is a company with a clear mission and the momentum to back it up. As someone in Talent Acquisition, I see firsthand the quality of people this company attracts and the genuine excitement candidates feel when they learn about the role and the culture. That says everything. When your own candidates are energized before they even join, you know you are working somewhere special. If you are wired for ownership, thrive in a high-energy environment, and want to work alongside people who genuinely want to see you succeed, ZoomInfo is your place. Here, you do not just contribute. You make things happen, fast.

Cons

The pace is fast and the expectations are high, but for the right person, that is a feature, not a bug. If you prefer a slower, more structured environment, this may take some adjustment. Come ready to own your work and move with purpose.

It means a lot to me personally to hear that your experience at ZoomInfo has stood out so positively, especially given your background in Talent Acquisition. Your comments about autonomy, trust, and partnership with leadership are particularly meaningful. We work hard to create an environment where experts are empowered to lead, contribute, and make decisions with confidence, so it’s incredibly rewarding to hear that reflected in your day-to-day experience. Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
