Pros
wikiHow has been a wonderful place to work. The position is fully remote, which can be alienating at times, but it's always easy to reach other members of my team. Recent leadership changes have lead to more interesting projects, clearer goals, and better communication, which makes me love my job even more. It's great to work for a company with responsive and approachable senior leadership. And, if you're a writer or editor, the work itself can be really fun and interesting.
Cons
The out of state health insurance options for remote employees are not comparable to the California-based insurance options. I pay more for health insurance than anybody I know, but my California-based coworkers do not. No paid holidays.
