Pros

To be honest when I first started at this company in 2015 I loved it. I found that the hours were flexible, they had lots of over time and the pay was so-so okay considering I started as a webchat operator. But don't let this fool you...

Cons

Lets get real... these bogus reviews that people have left are laughable! For one, they have clearly been left by people who don't have a back bone and won't tell the truth, what I find hilarious is that clearly management have asked for these to be left due to the onslaught of truthful reviews. Now I left FM about 6/7 months ago but something has been niggling at me to leave this review due to the absolute terrible last 2 years I experienced at FM. 1. Bullying, yes this does happen and yes I spoke about this with HR - not that anything was done but hey ho. My manager was an absolute treat to work with, the manipulation techniques, the emotional blackmailing, the singling out of certain people in my team that made everyone including that person feel ridiculously uncomfortable. The pressure to do other peoples jobs as well my own. 2. HR process, not like FM follow them. Lets rule off all the mess ups shall we... never following correct disciplinaries which my manager handed out like sweets (no one from HR present) oh and left signed copies in drawers (GO CONFIDENTIALITY!!!). Or how about doctors notes, sick notes etc that were left in drawers... Let's talk about the fact that FM sacked someone without correct HR sign off, and how embarrassing it must of been for you all when that person appealed, won and you had to offer them their job back.. not that they stayed. 3. PDP's, let's just throw them out of the window shall we? Promise of these but in reality it's another meeting to get certain people out of doing their actual role... 4. Severely underpaid for my role, I was a trainer, QA checker for 5 plus campaigns (I think), I carried out Pit stops blah blah blah sounds like 2 different roles doesn't it? OH and let's not forget that you'll be thrown on campaigns to take customer chats/emails and social media whilst having to do your actual role at some point in the day. But will your TWO managers help? Nope... that work is beneath them. For all this ladies and gentlemen you'll be on a whopping 16,500 with no bonuses, whilst an operator who you've helped with their QA will more than likely get a bonus for the month and come out with nearly as much as you - HIGH FIVE! Supervisors get paid 1,000 more than you as well - not like me and my colleagues asked to be put on the same amount, that was rejected. 5. Progression, let's get one thing straight this doesn't really exist within FM unless you're family, a family friend, someone's girlfriend/boyfriend or just a big massive brown nose. 6. Flexibility - yes you are expected to be 100% flexible. Nevermind you have an actual life outside of work with friends and family - just change your hours with less than 24 hours notice from 8-4's to 2-10's. When you offer to work 8-4 but help out with over time, that's rejected because you guessed it - it will cost FM extra and they want that money in their pocket. Will your manager help out? Well you guessed it, nope because they have family (well don't we all?). 7. Higher management -seriously unapproachable verging on weird. 8. Work environment - dirty, out dated, dogs that literally wee and poo everywhere (seriously its disgusting). 9. Redundancies, are you qualified for the job? Yes! Then don't worry you'll still be made redundant even though they keep all of their family safe. And after all this never forgot to plaster a fake smile on your face and be positive all the time, because you need to help with the whole company engagement, whilst we mask over the actual underlying issues of the lack of progression, pay etc. Jokes aside, honestly one of the worst companies that suck you in with false promises. Don't be fooled by the 5* reviews, why would I take 20 minutes out of my life to write this review if it wasn't true.
