Pros

The pros about this place are the free food during the holidays and the company events. $50 dollars if you are lucky. Or maybe if you write a good review. If you are lazy or if you need smoking breaks then you win in this company. FP loves to reward laziness. If you want to relive your high school days then this is an amazing plays full of rumors and drama. No one can be trusted and this is what define the employees of FinPac

Cons

As an employee you work very hard for little pay. (Hence why you will meet many people here who have two jobs or those who need the income of their spouse.) They will take advantage of any little thing you give to them. The environment is toxic with gossip and laziness which result to negativity. The people are just as terrible. People don't work here, they gossip, they befriend you to betray you. There are never any upper management for help unless they favor you; you can find a few constantly calling in, or if one is gone the other will leave early. When they are around, you will find them sitting or talking on the phone or what not (Meetings are a joke). Pick up a stack of work and then put it down for someone else to do it. They expect to pay you nothing to do their work plus yours. Don't expect to get appreciated by it because the more you do the more taken advantage you will get. The more you do, the more they expect without any appreciation. You will get suckered into thinking this is the best place for you because people stay there for a long period of time. They will lie to you that you are getting a big raise but it is the same as everyone else. You will get sucked into by the make belief of good ethics and culture. Everyone is so two face buddy buddy that there are no boundaries or confidentiality. You get the point. If you decide to come in the FINPAC "family" keep an eyes and ears open. You will see. Oh yes and they will not make rules that benefit you. A rule here is that you are not allowed to wear fragrance or use any bath wash because it is offensives. This place is a joke when there are more ethical HR rules they should focus on. Oh that's right human resource is a joke. Do not confide anything to them. The president l approval rating is beyond belief. He cares about himself. He hears 10 million dollars and over work his employees to do the job. He doesn't understand the work that goes into it. He doesn't care. This guy as a president of a small company doesn't even know everyone's name or acknowledge them. It's a shame to see a once decent company fall into what it is now due to greed. I must warn you, they sale the position very well and if you are desperate then you will come to FINPAC. If you know your worth then leave or find something better. One of the worst companies. Hopefully Umpqua take over or better yet let go of FINPAC and lay off the entire company. Cross your fingers. P.S Funding dept = devil. This is a high school job, most of the people here have nothing more than a h.s diploma. Meaning you can't expect much. It's not worth it. Nothing will be done in this miserable company. Terrible all around. Save yourself and run. Don't waste time applying.
