Pros
Kind, competent and committed people work here.
Work/life balance is solid.
Unlike one of the previous posts by an angry person, the ED and managers are passionate about the mission and they work hard at maintaining a team approach and making sure people have the opportunity to share their opinions. In my experience, the ED has helped and inspired me to become a better leader and manager.
Plus, the benefits are great (especially for a nonprofit!), with a 6% 401(k) contribution for all FT employees.
I left the org because I had another opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. If that opportunity had not arisen, I would still be working there.
Cons
Fast growth came with some growing pains.
Management style varies from team to team, some are stronger than others.
