Let's be real, as the only thing good about working at iGeeks Media is the coworkers. You'll bond over shared misery, becoming closer than family because, hey, at least you're all suffering together. Some of the folks here are actually smart and helpful, which is a miracle considering the circumstances. Speaking of miracles, if you get roped into one of their never-ending meetings about absolutely nothing, consider yourself blessed. You just got paid to do a whole lot of nothing. They love wasting your time instead of letting you (you know) work. Oh, and don't be surprised if they offer you a taste of some magical Kangen water, because that'll make up for everything, right?
Cons
If you're the type who enjoys workplace drama served with a large side of hypocrisy, then iGeeks Media is the place for you. This company's management is so obsessed with your personal lives that they could probably write the next season of some awful reality show. But don't think that interest extends both ways. If you have the audacity to experience personal difficulties that need some time off, prepare to be interrogated. Privacy is a one-way street around here. Speaking of pointless things, they love meetings for meetings for meetings. Even if the topic could have been summed up in two lines of an email, be prepared for a three-hour marathon of pointless chatter. And don't even dream of a raise! No matter how stellar your performance, they'll conveniently forget about your hard work while inventing some bizarre reason to deny it. They love to talk about an "open leave" policy, but don't be fooled. If you have a good reason for needing time off, it won't matter. Meanwhile, some of the higher-ups can just vanish for a day with no prior notice. Double standards, anyone? They'll brag about paying competitive salaries and dishing out bonuses like candy. Spoiler alert: they're not. You might think then they must care about employee development, lol, think again! Oh! a quick tip! If you're thinking of working here, get EVERYTHING in writing. People in management have a funny way of forgetting what they say and blaming you for their mistakes.
