      Good work/life balance, great team, questionable growth opportunities

      Pros

      I worked in one of Intralink's Asian offices and really enjoyed the environment. I can hardly remember a day when I was dreading coming to the office. The set of projects we were offered was diverse which was never boring. Good team spirit.

      Cons

      Limited growth opportunities: as you move up the ladder, the nature of your work does not change and this gets old after a while. The company's founder is not a bad person but quite old school, and the team surrounding him lacks diversity (older, white males). As a result, you have to deal with occasional sexism, mostly harmless but I witnessed a few discriminatory situations my fellow female colleagues encountered that were BAD.

      Friendly. Nice people. Use english. Dynamic. Never get bored

      Just sales work. Crazy outreach. White male centered. Not recommending to anyone over 28 years old.

      -Possible to gain broad understanding of multiple industry sectors in few years -Flexibility and autonomy are likely (but ultimately demands on direct supervisor) -Coworkers of diverse nationalities/backgrounds (but not necessarily in terms of gender)

      Cons

      - Company's business model is very much based on cold calling and holding meetings for the sake of generating "activity" (or the appearance thereof) to report back to clients. Understand and accept this = you can do well. - Don't expect " management consulting". Most of the job is glorified cold calling. Once the interesting bits start to happen, clients will typically swoop in and do it themselves. -Compensation can be quite disappointing
